Kyle Rod and Custom Show, Eglinton Country Park 21-23 August 2009
This was our first time at this event and was a bit of a last minute decision to go. Weather was a bit unpredictable but we headed down to have a wee look.
The park is a great venue and there were a fair few campervans there when we arrived. The show is quite small and a bit different from others that we've been to before. No traders, just a relaxed place to camp and chat with some evening entertainment and free burgers.
Saturday night was hillbilly disco night and most folk had made the effort to dress up. Our home made moonshine was proving pretty lethal - especially by it's third incarnation!
We'd probably come here again as it's pretty local for us. Good loos (and even showers!) Hoping for better weather next time : )
